Description

Class Experience

Each week in this class, students will have the opportunity to write their response to a journal prompt (given by the teacher at the beginning of class) and share their writing with other students.

The prompt will be shown and read to students at the beginning of class, and a few examples will be given as to how the prompt could be answered. Students will then have about 10 minutes to write several sentences (a short paragraph). Students will be encouraged to write at least 3 sentences, and...

Students will have the opportunity to practice their writing and share with other students, by reading their work out loud.

Lined paper will be provided by the teacher to print for each class

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
