Ever wanted to make your own Jabba slime or Yoda puppet? In this fun, 15 week class, we will read a Star Wars story and do an activity/craft that goes along with the book. Each week will be a new story & a fun, new activity.

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Once upon a time, in a Galaxy far far away.... This ongoing class is perfect for young Star Wars fans all over the Galaxy! Come to class and learn all about your favorite Star Wars characters through stories, crafts, and fun activities! Feel free to dress up as the Star Wars characters we will be talking about, or your favorite Disney/Star Wars character. Learning is accomplished through the use of pre-recorded class videos (NO LIVE MEETINGS). Each week we will talk about new characters and what we can learn from them. 5 min- Introductions 10 min- Story 10 min- Activity: learn to draw, make a craft, color a picture, etc. After class- Show & tell what we've made in the Outschool classroom Go at your own pace classroom: Each week I will send out the newest video of class, which involves a story, a question or prompt for the week, and a craft/activity to finish. You will be able to complete this ant your own pace, then upload the prompt and photo/video of your activity to the Outschool classroom once completed. Each week will be something new and different in terms of homework. Sometimes I’ll ask you to send a picture or video of your craft in the classroom. There are weeks where you’ll have options as to which activity you’re completing. I may ask which you chose and why. The classroom is meant to engage discussion, ask questions, and share our thoughts and ideas. I look forward to seeing the creative things you come up with! More suggestions are always welcome! We miss Disney and just want an excuse to dress up, talk about Star Wars, and HAVE FUN! I want to see imagination and creativity through play and the craft we complete together. Most of all, I want them to enjoy themselves and HAVE FUN being in a galaxy far far away for the day.

Syllabus
15 Lessons

Anakin’s Story
We will read a story about Anakin and make our own pod-racing scene! Lesson 2:
Yoda fights Count Dooku
We will be reading the story of Yoda vs Count Dooku and making our own Yoda craft. Lesson 3:
Droids and General Grievous
We will be reading how important droids are in the mission all while making our own R2 units! Lesson 4:
Escape from Darth Vader
We will read about Darth Vader and even make our own Vader mask Other Details
Parental Guidance
Grown ups may need to help with cutting or gluing.
Supply List
Each week I will send the list of supplies for class. Most are things lying around already like crayons, scissors, tape, etc. I will also provide printouts for class.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
