Description

Class Experience

Join us for Ready, Set, Kindergarten!  This class is designed to help students, ages 4 to 6, get and stay ready for kindergarten by practicing important skills in reading and phonics, letter and number formation (writing), speaking, and play.  Each week we will explore a new topic, review past topics, and engage in interactive activities to help learners hone their skills.

Participants will increase their understanding and application of kindergarten reading and phonics,  letter and number writing, and speaking.

Families will receive access to a fillable online worksheet, after every class, so participants could practice at home.  This will be optional.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

At the end of the 6-week session, each participant will receive a brief written report about their progress in the class.

40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
