Ready, Set, Horses is an introductory course where the students will learn basic information, including "Fun Facts" about horses. My family has had horses for nearly twenty years. During this time, I have learned and taught other children about horses. The most important lesson when dealing with horses includes information about horse safety. I will also teach students about the care of a horse. Horses are a significant investment. Therefore, students will learn from my experience about what it takes to care for a horse. The topics covered in this course will be: 1. Safety First - This is the most important aspect of dealing with horses. 2. Horse Care - Grooming, Vet Care, Environment, etc. 3. Fun Horse Facts - Did you know a horse cannot breathe through their mouth? A horse communicates with their ears! This course will include lecture time along with discussions and games. No Experience Required!
Learning Goals
