In this 1.5 hour class, student will follow the instruction and guidance on how to measure, mix, bake, and decorate some tasty cupcakes.
Class experience
In this 90-minute class, students will follow instructions and bake alongside their teacher in order to create a tasty treat. First, we will go over the tools that we will be using in class, as well as the ingredients to make sure everyone is prepared. Students will follow step by step instruction in order to make the cupcake batter and will have opportunity to ask questions as they go. Once the batter is made, we will prepare the cupcake pans with liners (or spray) then fill with batter. We...
Students will learn how to measure and mix ingredients, bake and decorate delicious cupcakes, as well as have the opportunity to socialize with their peers.
I have had a passion for baking since I was 6 years old, baking alongside my mother. In 2014, I decided to take cake decorating classes to improve my skills and found an even stronger love for that. A year later, I started my own custom cake business from home and have been very successful ever since. Currently, I homeschool my 3 children and have passed my love for baking onto them and I always find ways to incorporate baking into their lessons. Baking is a great learning experience as we read the recipes and use math skills to measure ingredients.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance is recommended when the students, especially younger ones, will be using the oven. Also, younger students may need help measuring and using the mixer.
