Let’s stop the summer slide and step into third grade with confidence! In Ready, Set, 3rd Grade!, learners will review key second grade skills and build readiness for the exciting academic growth ahead in third grade. This interactive online summer camp blends learning and fun to help students stay sharp, build new skills, and feel prepared for a strong start. With a focus on reading comprehension, writing, math fluency, and critical thinking, each session includes games, discussions, movement, and hands-on activities designed to keep learners engaged. Led by a certified elementary teacher, this camp encourages curiosity, independence, and a growth mindset as learners transition into the upper elementary years. In this class, learners will: Strengthen reading fluency and practice comprehension strategies Review and extend writing skills, including grammar and paragraph structure Practice multi-digit addition and subtraction Explore basic multiplication and division concepts Solve multi-step word problems and use math reasoning Develop strong study habits, focus, and responsible participation Build confidence for the academic and social expectations of third grade This class is perfect for learners who have completed second grade and are preparing to enter third grade. Whether your child needs review or enrichment, this summer camp offers a supportive space to grow, connect, and get ready to thrive in third grade!
Learning Goals
