Reading/Writing Assessment/Evaluation for Primary Grades (Prek-3Rd) (M.S.Ed)

***This is a one-time assessment class, to determine what skills your child needs to work on.*** Please do not schedule more than one assessment class.***

To prepare for assessment, prior to class I will send you a questionnaire to complete about your child's reading skills. I will use this to determine what skills to assess your child on, so that I am able to gain knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses with reading skills. Once assessed, I will make a recommendation to you as to what your learner needs support with or what areas your child could be challenged in. I will also make a recommendation as to one-on-one tutoring OR a small group class I teach. The one-on-one tutoring will be a private listing, and sent to you via Parent Communication.  I have limited one-on-one availability. My small group classes have no more than 6 students per class. 

If you decide you would like tutoring, I will let you know what availability I have. Please do not enroll in multi-pe sessions within this class link. I will send you a separate link to enroll in tutoring. 
The one-on-one instruction will cover the skills as decided by myself and the parent. I will create individualized lessons for your learner based on their needs. Sessions will be 30 minutes, twice a week, unless parent requests more sessions. Requires a 6-week commitment. Parent communication and feedback is very much appreciated and needed to help your learner succeed.

Please feel free to join the first 5 minutes to briefly share your goals for the assessment. Once completed, I will ask to speak with you and then I will follow up with a written report of the assessment. I can make a recommendation for one on one tutoring or to one of my on-going classes which your child would benefit from. I do not allow my class size to go beyond 6 students for any class.
