Class Experience
Literacy Instruction will be taught. Within a lesson students will learn phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, letter identification, letter/sound correspondence, writing, spelling, and reading. I will teach using slides, games, interactive learning, discussion, and hands on learning. I will expect students to be interactive with me throughout the lesson having many tasks they will be doing throughout the lesson. Class structure will run like the following allowing some my take...
Students will improve their understanding of phonological awareness, phonics, and decoding skills.
Experience: Special Education Teacher 10 years, Kindergarten Teacher 1 year, Virtual Teacher 2 years, In person tutoring 2 years Training Orton Gillingham Phonics Training(3 different programs connections, ISME, Phonics 1st), RISE Training, Science of Reading Training, Degree: BSE Early Childhood, MSE Special Education, ED.S Reading(1 class from finishing)

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
