Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 6
Beginner - Advanced Level
This class is an ongoing one on one tutoring class that will focus on phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding strategies, and reading comprehension. Each class will focus on a new strategy and will build on what the student already knows. I will assess each student during our first class to gauge their reading level and phonological and phonemic understanding. It will help if you already know your students' reading levels and what reading assessment was used. Your student's teacher should have this information. The tutoring sessions will include some multi-sensory activities to work on phonemic and phonological awareness. Sessions with be tailored to each learner's needs. Below is an idea of what a learner's series of sessions will look like. Neuro-divergent and ESL students are happily welcomed.
