Class Experience

*****Part I must be read BEFORE the first class.*****

Peanut Jones is a story about a 12-year-old girl whose father suddenly disappeared a year ago.  She's started a new school she doesn't like, is unhappy that her mother is going to dinner with her smarmy boss, and spends quite a bit of time in detention.  But all isn't bad; one evening she discovers a magic pencil.  Let the adventure begin! 
  
   In our 1 week camp, we will  discuss the book, story elements such as plot, characters,...

  I have taught kids for 33  years either as an elementary public school teacher, 4H leader or homeschool co-op instructor.

The kids  need to read the assigned parts before each class meeting.

4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
