Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn to master reading objectives. Topics include, but not limited to main idea, theme, author's purpose, text structure, sensory details, point of view, literary devices, inferencing, story elements, text features, visual elements, poetry elements, literary texts, and informational texts. 

My class structure will be as follows:
1) Open with fluency read and discussion of chapter book that I display on screen via EPIC (15 minutes)
2) Introduce the day's topic...

This class is taught in English.

2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
