Class Experience

In each class we will be reading stories, that I'm going to share on the screen with my students. Then we will go through all the 5 basic elements of a story, such as: The Plot, The Character, The Setting, The Conflict and The Solution.
Students will learn new words, learn how to predict a story based on what is illustrated in the picture, will talk about the plot (what the whole story is about) and will identify the moral of a story.
Children will have an opportunity to interact with each other when it's needed by having a dialogue, asking and answering each other's question and sharing their thoughts and ideas regarding a story.
We will go into details of why the character acted a certain way, what caused the problem between the heroes and how the problem could be resolved.

July 6 th we are reading the story called "No Matter What" by Debi Gliori,
July 13 th the story called "We're going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury,

Teacher expertise and credentials
I've been working with children for over 5 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Management and a TESOL Certificate as an English teacher for speakers of other languages. I work as a preschool teacher and also have a work experience as an English teacher online. I love teaching and reading stories with children. I've been teaching this topic "the 5 basic elements of a story" throughout the whole school year and my students can really impress with how much their understanding of a story increased and learned how to create their own stories.
