Class experience
This course is generally for students in the 1st grade reading level range. Students should at least know their letters, be able to recognize some basic sight words, and be ready to learn different short/long vowel sounds and practice consonant blends. I do offer more advanced course sessions, so please contact me if you would like your child to take my class but they are at a second grade + reading level. I am a dedicated, fun teacher who loves helping young people learn to read and better understand what they read. I have a Master's degree in Education, and have experience teaching this course and others that relate to developing a stronger command of the English language. I also write children's stories and love to share them in my courses!
Parents will not need to purchase anything for this course, unless you run out of ink or paper!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
