Beginner Level
Welcome to Our Reading Adventure! Hey there, first graders! Are you ready to have fun while learning to read? Our class is just for kids like you who are starting to read and want to get even better. We’ll do activities that help us sound out words, spell, and read stories! Our Class Time: When: We meet twice per week. How Long: Each session is 40 minutes of fun learning. What We’ll Do: We'll have fun with activities like writing letters, spelling words, blending sounds to read, and enjoying special stories. We'll also practice breaking down big words, recognizing sound patterns, using our senses, and focusing on common words to make reading easier. Checking Our Progress: We’ll see how much you’ve learned and make our lessons even better for you. What We Need from You: Come to all the classes. Be ready to join in and have fun. Be on time. Use a tablet, laptop, or desktop for our lessons. Have your supplies ready. Ask for help if you need it. Wear a headset to hear better. Tell us at least 24 hours ahead (if possible) if you need to change your schedule. Use the learner tab to message your teacher, and I’ll reply in 24 hours. Remember, practice makes perfect! I'm excited to help you become a reading superstar!
