Description

Class Experience

In this one time class students will practice their reading fluency by taking turns reading pages from "The Paper Bag Princess". The students will see a nontraditional princess that becomes empowered throughout the story. As we read, we will make inferences about the story and by solving riddles. We will finish the class by answering open ended and multiple choice questions about the story. I will share my screen so students can read a page out loud, we will have a discussion to solve 10...

Students will practice their reading fluency, will strengthen their inference skills, and will have fun solving riddles!

A letter grade will be provided based on the inference questions at the end of class.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
