Description
Class Experience
In this class students will improve their phonics, fluency and vocabulary skills as we master short vowels.
After each lesson, kids will have a fun reading game to do with their families. Parents are also encouraged to read with children as much as possible.
Students will need the following supplies: small white board, 1 white board marker, white board eraser (a sock works), 1 pencil with eraser, five 3 X 5 cards, 1 sentence strips or paper that an adult has "cut" into 11 X 3 inch strips, Child proof scissors, and 8 slide-lock baggies.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
