In this class, your child can learn early reading readiness skills all while keeping their bodies moving. Some important reading readiness skills we will learn are letter and sound knowledge, recognition of rhyming and alliteration, and syllable awareness. This class will focus on teaching each of these skills through a variety of movement activities so that students are having fun as they prepare to become lifelong learners! *Please note that an open space would be ideal for this class as we will be stretching, dancing, and completing exercises. Before starting movements, we will always breathe and stretch to prepare our bodies. Depending on flooring, sneakers may be the best footwear so students can maintain balance and water is encouraged to keep hydrated :) I look forward to learning with each of you!
