In this one time class, students will learn and practice Frye's first 20 sight words, which are the most commonly used sight words in beginning reading and help improve reading fluency.

Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will gain confidence in their literacy skills by identifying the 20 most commonly used sight words in beginning reading.
I have been teaching Early Childhood for the past 7 years. I taught Pre-K (Children ages 3-5) for 3 years. I have taught First Grade for 4 years. Additionally, I have 2 years of online teaching experience. I try to make our online learning fun, engaging and educational!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed informally throughout the lesson. Additionally, I am happy to answer any questions a parent may have based on my observations in class. Parents may use the sight word list/resources provided upon completion of the class to also assess their learner at home.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
