Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Intermediate Level
Is your child excited about reading? This ongoing class is designed for students who have completed the skills in level 1-3. This class will help spark the joy of reading in each learner. Lessons are structured around activities that will meet each child's individual level. My teaching style encourages confidence in readers through interactive fun games, short read aloud, and creating written sentence puzzles. Topics covered will include "phonics clues" that teach sounding out words with vowel teams, syllable types, heart words (Dolch List), and graphemes. I look forward to meeting my new learners and helping each one become a more fluent reader!
