Description
Class Experience
In this 4 week's flex course, learners will read along with me and my assistants for these delightful short stories with beautiful illustrations. This class is great for children with dyslexia, ESL, English language learners, and/or struggling readers also. The list of very short stories is listed below. I made these stories with the intention of helping my students who struggle with reading or are just learning to read. Each short story was authored by me. I find that many children's books...
Students will read/hear short stories that progress from pre-kindergarten emergent readers to Grade 1 reading levels with engaging short stories. The little short stories will be read in each class weekly as listed above. This class is great for students show are starting to read, have reading struggles, or have dyslexia.
Dr. Ruth Ph.D. CCC-SLP. is a teacher and speech-language pathologist who has helped struggling readers and taught students from adults to children including being a reading specialist and tutor. I have various reading specialty certificates including ASHA certification and have utilized various reading methods such as CERI, All About Reading, Reading Rockets, Rime Magic, and ASHA Dyslexia Certificates.
There will be a flipbook link sent to each learner for each story with foundational decodable words from each story. Independent study with a parent or other person.
