Class Experience
Take the first step into reading with phonics! In this FLEX class, your student will learn basic letter sounds and how to blend simple CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words with daily interaction and practice to help grow those early reading skills. This is a great class for young learners who know their alphabet and are ready to step into reading. By the end of this class, your student will know 26 letter names, their basic sounds and how to read the simple CVC words discussed in class.
Students will need play dough, crayons, paper, glue, scissors and printouts of the provided worksheets.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
