1-2 hours per week. Students will receive a page to complete and a game to play on Nearpod.
Assessment
A written report will be send to each parent.

Class Experience

This class is designed specially for ages 4-6. By playing games and singing songs the students will develop a strong base to learn how to read in Spanish  and the correct pronunciation of words. Students need  basic Spanish knowledge, preferably has taken part II (Have Fun Learning To Read In Spanish Part II).
 Reading simple words and simple sentences. We will read different stories and have fun adding new sounds each week. 
We will add new words to our vocabulary in a fun playful way each week.
Reading sentences and reading comprehension, like a day at the market!
We will read a stories about " La Gallina" reviewing the sound of the soft "r" hard "rr", the "LL" sound.
We will read a story about colors.
A day at the park.
A day at the beach.
Going to Abuelitas house.
The material will be presented to the students in a variety of formats.  We will practice correct pronunciation of the letters and words. Having fun, singing songs and playing games while practicing with the other students in the class.  We will spend lots of time repeating the Spanish alphabet, to pronounce the vowels throughout class and how putting together the sounds we can learn to read. 
The class will meet over video chat.
I use Nearpod to help the students review material covered on the days lesson. 

Week 1: the week of 06/20  Basic introductions in Spanish and English, Learning a song with Abuela Toñita ( puppet use to engage learners)
and review of the Spanish Alphabet and correct pronunciation. Singing song to practice alphabet.
Week 2:  The week of 06/27 / Theme: The sound of the "LL" We will read the story of la Gallina.
Week 3:  The week of 07/04 / Theme: The sound of the "c", "s" and "z" We will read the story of el Zorro Chamarron
Week 4:  The week of 07/11 / Theme: The sound of the magical "y" some times it can be a vowel .
Week 5:  The week of  07/18/ Theme: The sound "pr".
