Need a little help with reading? How about understanding what you just read? This class is geared toward a small group (no more than 4 students) so they have many chances to read and interact. This will be a great place to read aloud to your friends to practice pronunciation and fluency. We will ask each other comprehension questions about the story. Sometimes we will answer verbally and sometimes we will be writing the answers down. We will also be engaging in sight words, vocabulary, and spelling in fun ways. I love playing games in my class as well as using digital props to add some fun rewards as we go. There will be times to be serious and times to have fun. Reading should be fun. We may use the built-in Zoom whiteboard function so practice with your learner on how to turn on this feature.
