Description
Class Experience
-Students will commit to and finish a whole book: Carry on, Mr. Bowditch. -Students will encourage each other through classroom interaction and by working as a team toward the end goal of finishing the book as a class. -Students will understand the characters, plot, setting and overall theme of the book through class discussions. -Students will be inspired to continue reading the series on their own.
Each week's assigned reading (8 chapters) should take less than 2 hours total to complete.
Each student is required to purchase their own copy of the book Carry On, Mr. Bowditch. It can be used or new, printed or digital.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
