The Reading Foundations Club is the perfect way to help children develop strong reading habits. We will focus on phonics, sight words, and reading books to help your child learn the skills they need to become strong readers.

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Each lesson will include sight words, a vowel pattern, and a story to practicing the new words in context. Lesson 1: 1. Fry's Sight Words 1-10 (Depending on Student level, we may cover more.) 2. Vowel Pattern - Closed pattern (Short vowel A) - Sound cards and tiles will be incorporated to facilitate multisensory learning. 3. Sharon Frazier-Verpooten has been teaching for 30 years in grades K-12. She holds an elementary teaching credential and a bachelor's degree in Music Education, as well as a master's degree in Educational Leadership.
