Each lesson will include sight words, a vowel pattern, and a story to practicing the new words in context. Lesson 1: 1. Fry's Sight Words 1-10 (Depending on Student level, we may cover more.) 2. Teacher expertise and credentials
California Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Sharon Frazier-Verpooten has been teaching for 30 years in grades K-12. She holds an elementary teaching credential and a bachelor's degree in Music Education, as well as a master's degree in Educational Leadership. A Certified Reading Intervention Specialist, and Music Specialist, she has also been extensively trained in many strategies to maximize student achievement, especially in Reader’s and Writer’s workshop, Gifted and Talented Education, and the AVID college readiness program.
