Class Experience
In this 15-week semester long Reading course, students will meet 2 times a week to learn and practice second grade reading and writing skills. This course will teach second grade reading and writing concepts. This course would be good for advance first grade students, second grade students or third grade students who need to review foundational reading concepts. I am a Florida certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Teaching Elementary Education. I have taught early childhood through fifth grade in math, reading, science and social studies. I am currently a 5th grade classroom teacher.
Students should read 20-30 minutes per night. Students will have word work in vocabulary, spelling and grammar practice worksheets each week.
