Description
Class Experience
-Reading provides many benefits. -Coloring page allows them to work on fine motor skills. -Discussion time allows them to learn socialization skills such as taking turns, listening, and speaking to others. -Book conversation allows for them to be able to recall and process all they heard during the story time. This class is meant to allow learners to discover the joy and benefits of reading.
I have been working in K-4th grades for over 3 years. I tutor for my local school system and run a private tutoring business. I love circle times and story times, they are my two favourite times of the day! It is the perfect blend of fun and learning all in one. I strive to make every learner who enters my classroom feel comfortable, happy and confident.
Each child will have to bring -Paper/Provided coloring pages -Markers/crayons
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance may be necessary for those learners who need assistance with cutting.
