Description
Class Experience
Learners will work on reading comprehension skills. At the beginning of class, we will go over class rules and learning how to listen. We will read the stories of Jack and the Beanstalk, The Ants and the Grasshopper, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf. We will take turns reading from the stories. Children with more reading experience will read aloud with assistance from the Teacher and those with less or no experience can read aloud along side the Teacher. Everyone will have a chance to participate....
This class is taught in English.
Learners will gain experience speaking in groups, reading aloud, and comprehending what they are reading. They will be able to answer questions with information that comes directly from the text. They will also gain experience working with and talking to children of various ages and reading levels.
