In this interactive 4-week Zoom class, students will sharpen their reading comprehension skills by focusing on identifying the main idea and key details in both fiction and nonfiction texts. Each week, we’ll use group discussions and practice with a variety of reading-level-appropriate passages to help students confidently determine the central message of a text and recognize supporting details. Through engaging activities and personalized feedback, students will build their ability to understand and summarize what they read. This class is perfect for students looking to strengthen their reading comprehension in a fun and supportive environment!
