Description

Class Experience

In this one time course students will build reading comprehension skills, knowledge, and strategies. Reading out loud will be a big focus. As a warm up students will watch a short video about The lion and The Mouse and answer questions about the story. Students will practice building reading skills with 3-8 passages that will be completed together. Lastly, students will have a "mind break" with a picture game called spot the difference if time allows. This course is recommended for young...

Students will improve their reading skills, sentence fluency, word choice, and pronunciation.

Dry erase board and Dry erase marker or Paper and Marker to write and show their answers

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
