In this one-time course, learners will learn how to use the other words in sentences while reading passages to help them figure out the definition of a word. Agenda: A.) A Powerpoint Presentation will be used to explain the definition of context clues and how to use them. The presentation will provide several examples for the learners to solve. B) Several reading passages will be provided. The learners will take turns reading through the passages and defining the words that are bolded in the passage by using context clues. The name of the reading passages are: 1.) Passenger Cars, 2. ) Seals 3.) Kids' Books are Big Business 4)Remember Who You Are e) Mighty Hercules

Learners will learn a skill that will help them figure out the meaning of words that don't understand.
