This class gives learners the continuous practice of reading comprehension. Each week, we'll also use crossword puzzles to review vocabulary from the reading. The class will be kept small to ensure that each learner has the opportunity to participate. Feedback from the teacher will be sent to the parent's inbox after each class. - Learners will develop and improve on reading comprehension skills. Although many learners read for fun, it is important to read with a purpose. This ensures learners can understand the reading material and are prepared for future reading exams in school. - Learners will learn to skim read, scan read, recall details, answer true or false questions, or answer multiple-choice questions.
- Miss Annet is a certified Teach English as a Second Language teacher in Canada. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a Master of Arts degree in Cultural and Educational Studies.
Homework might include some new vocabulary, and the final class may have an educational game that revolves around the previous readings.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
