Class Experience
- Learners will develop and improve on reading comprehension skills. Although many learners read for fun, it is important to read with a purpose. This ensures learners can understand the reading material and are prepared for future reading exams in school. - Learners will learn to skim read, scan read, recall details, answer true or false questions, or answer multiple-choice questions.
- Miss Annet is a certified Teach English as a Second Language teacher in Canada. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a Master of Arts degree in Cultural and Educational Studies.
Homework might include some new vocabulary, and the final class may have an educational game that revolves around the previous readings.
Optional: notebook, pencil
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
- We will be using www.quizziz.com for some of our educational games. - Students may require caregiver assistance when transitioning from Zoom to quizziz.com
