Welcome to Reading Comprehension and Writing! Ready to dive into the world of literature and sharpen your writing skills? In this class, high school students will explore classic pieces of literature, all copyright-free, and develop a deep understanding of the text. Each week, you'll kick off with a new story or passage, spending the first session unraveling its meaning, discussing themes, and analyzing different perspectives. The second session is where the magic happens—writing! You’ll craft and refine a new piece each week, building your skills in various writing styles. Whether you're a budding writer or just looking to enhance your reading comprehension, this class offers a relaxed yet engaging environment where you can take your time to truly grasp what you’re reading and express yourself creatively. And the best part? The lessons are standalone, meaning you can jump in at any time without missing a beat. Join us for a journey through words, where each week offers a new adventure in reading and writing! Keep in mind these will be taught at grade level. We will help along the way.
