Beginner - Intermediate Level
This personalized, one-on-one tutoring experience is designed to help students excel by strengthening foundational reading skills and vocabulary, improving fluency, and developing advanced analysis and critical thinking abilities. Through tailored instruction and engaging strategies aligned with Common Core Standards, learners will build the confidence and skills necessary to thrive academically and approach reading with greater independence and understanding. Each class follows a gradual release of responsibility (also known as "I do, we do, you do"). Using this teaching strategy, I strive to reduce learners' anxiety by providing clear modeling and scaffolded opportunities to practice new skills! Learners can expect to gain a more in-depth understanding of the following skills: ⭐Reading Comprehension ⭐Reading Analysis and Critical Thinking Skill ⭐Vocabulary ⭐Reading Fluency Perfect for students seeking to overcome challenges or enrich their reading journey, this class fosters a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom.

Students will engage with carefully selected, grade-level texts tailored to support their reading development, critical thinking, and comprehension skills during each session.
Instructional strategies and content delivery will include the use of the following tools: Canva, Quizizz, and Pear Deck. Materials may be shared via Google Drive, Google Slides, and Google Docs. A Google account will be required to access these instructional materials.
