Description

Class Experience

In this class, we will explore 4 fictional books in a fun, club-style class. There will be no formal assignments or grades, just fun discussion and optional activities! Students will be able to lead the discussion based on their observations and what they enjoyed, but I will also have some open-ended guidance questions in case we need extra discussion material. We will talk about student's favorite and least favorite parts, characters, and how we can apply the lessons we learn in the books to...

I have been a passionate reader since I was 8, and I've read probably hundreds of books. I have all As in my English classes, high school and college levels, and a 32 in English on the ACT. I've also been tutoring English and reading for 4 months now.

Students will have optional assignments and activities, but the only thing required is that they read the book before class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Some of the books may have violence and language.
