In this three-day course, students will practice building their fluency skills by taking turns reading sentences (of passages) aloud in class. After reading each passage, students will then test their comprehension skills by answering questions about the passage. All passages have a secular Christmas or winter theme to them. We will close the class by singing a secular Christmas carol together. However, the lyrics will be shown so students can READ along as they sing. This class is really ideal for any of my current students in my "Reading Class" or in my "Sight Word #12 (or above) Class". However, I welcome new students as well! Students should already be able to read short passages and beginning level books before taking this class. If you are unsure if this class will be a good fit for your child, please message me and I will send you an example of one of the passages we'll be reading. :)

Parental Guidance
This class has a secular Christmas theme. We will be reading a passage about Santa and his reindeer.
Supply List
Students should have a dry-erase board, dry-erase marker, and eraser for class. If a dry erase board is not available, a piece of paper with a writing utensil will work fine too.
