Description
Class Experience
***This is a one-time assessment class, to determine what skills your child needs to work on.*** To prepare for assessment, prior to class I will send you a questionnaire to complete about your child's reading skills. I will use this to determine what skills to assess your child on, so that I am able to gain knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses with reading skills. Once assessed, I will make a recommendation to you as to what your learner needs support with or what areas your child...
The learner will be assessed to develop an appropriate learning plan to ensure student growth.
Any incomplete work from class will be considered homework for continued practice of the skills.
Supplies will be varied by lesson. Parents will be notified via the classroom 24 hours prior to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be assessed as needed through informal assessments and observations.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
