Reading and Writing Spanish Club: Intermediate Class for Teens

Hello everyone!
This class is for intermediate to advanced Spanish learners. It is designed to improve the students conversation and writing skills, while learning about the Spanish speaking countries and different cultures around the world. During this ongoing class, students will first read an article or short book, in order to know more about the culture or country that we will be discussing; some of the themes include history, traditions, legends, culture, biodiversity, among other. Before students learn about the material, we will go over the definition of a few words that are key to understanding the subject matter we will be focusing on. 

During and after students have engaged in reading and discussion, they will be doing a writing exercise using different verb tenses, linking words, prepositions and adverbs, that will help them express their ideas on paper in a correct and clear manner; everybody will have a turn to share their thoughts and writing exercises. We will end the class with a fun activity, based on the topic the students discussed during the session.
