Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to read and write the Korean alphabet, Hangeul, as well as basic Korean pronunciation.
I have studied Korean for over 10 years, have experience living and working in Korea, and have attained the highest level (Level 6) on the Korean government's Test of Proficiency in Korean.
There will be optional writing practice sheets provided to the learners after each class that takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. This will not be checked by the teacher, but is recommended for the purpose of improving their Korean handwriting and becoming more comfortable with the Korean alphabet.
I will provide handouts for practicing writing in class and outside of class. They are all optional for the learners. (Learners can use lined or printer paper instead if desired, but should be equipped with a pencil and paper.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be assessed informally in each class through games and discussions/reading practice.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
