Description
Class Experience
Using a fun fiction text that focuses on silent/magic E, students will gain the phonics skill of reading words with silent e. The students will practice reading words during the first part of the lesson in a mini-lesson format. I will create a T chart to model this skill. Then, they will take turns reading a book that focusing on words with this pattern. Many students struggle to read these type of words until they learn and practice the pattern.
