Beginner Level
In this ongoing class, we would read passages that contain either phonic skills such as Short and long Vowel Word Families, Blends, Digraphs, or Reading Strategies such as Cause and Effect, Main idea, Character, etc. Each passage has its own comprehension questions along with a fluency tracker. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching children how to read in small groups or 1 on 1 in a class and home setting.
Homework Offered
Homework is given via Google Form link. Should be completed at the end of every class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
A Reading Accuracy Test is conducted at the beginning and ending of each Unit. This assessment would be done as a take-home assignment where the learner will record themselves reading a passage using Outschool Recording tool found in the classroom chat box. An in class Comprehension Quiz will also be given at the end of the Unit.Grades Offered
