Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 8
These will be reading passages and questions at whatever grade level your child is reading at. There will be a variety of reading passages of different topics. The class will meet each day for one hour on Saturday & Sunday. I will teach via Zoom. The reading passages will be displayed so the students can read and follow along. I am very patient in teaching! However, I do love to talk and garner feedback as well! The student will interact quite a bit! They will be reading and answering questions (I will not always be the talker). The student does not need to have any experience at all.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their reading fluency and comprehension at whatever their instructional reading level is. With readings rich in vocabulary and a variety of comprehension questions, the student will increase his/her reading and comprehension skills. In addition, students will increase their writing skills as well (complete sentences, correct capitalization, punctuation, grammar). Students will be able to see the answers on the white board in order to write them down.

Supply List
Pencil/Paper would be very beneficial. Students will be writing down the questions, and, with support, the answers as well (in complete sentences). This will be great practice for them!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
