As a certified reading specialist and classroom teacher with over eleven years of teaching experience, I have experienced first hand how important it is to provide children with a strong foundation for reading. When I first began my teaching career, I had the opportunity to help create a reading curriculum for children in their first formal year of schooling in West Africa. Between my experience working overseas and teaching in the U.S., students have had great success with reading in my classroom by learning the concepts taught in this course.
