Our class will begin with an interactive read-aloud, followed by a chance for students to draw their own version of the Wonky Donkey. We will also extend our understanding of rhyming words and phonetic spelling by brainstorming a list as a class. Most of our time will be spent practicing a reader's theater script of the story in our most expressive voices. Students will improve fluency through repeated readings. Students will improve rhyming and spelling skills. Students will improve creative writing by adding new lines to the story.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
