Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4

In this class, students will practice their reading fluency in fun ways. We talk about how we can change our voices to match the characters we portray as well as proper pauses and other good strategies that good readers do.

Here is the weekly breakdown of scripts. Stories will cycle back every 10 weeks. Students are welcome to continue through the next cycle as it is good practice since they will already be familiar with the words and the story.

Hi! I'm Ashley! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language. Literacy is always at the forefront of my lessons. I use a lot of songs and creativity to help students learn various content. I have been teaching for over ten years.

Additionally to the public school system in the United States, I also taught at an international school overseas! I believe every child has a unique learning potential and it is my goal not only to teach, but also to help my students understand how they learn best, too! I love to sing, dance and act! You may just see all of that in the classroom!
