Description

Class Experience

Reader's theater scripts are a wonderful way to engage young readers in developing all areas of fluency! Students will enjoy bringing a character to life and interacting with peers by practicing expressive reading and enjoying a fun story!

This class will follow the following format:
1. Warm-up--We will warm up our voices by practicing a short poem or tongue twister together
2. Reader's Theater reading -- We will choose our parts and begin reading!
3. We will complete a story map about the...

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Google Slides

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

I will screen share google slides to present the script and story map for students to follow along.
