In this semester course, pupils will learn about punctuation in a fun and engaging manner through visual resources and games. We will explore a different punctuation mark each week: Week 1 - 18/1/22: Full stops/periods Week 2 - 10/2/21: Capital letters (start of sentences) Week 3 - 17/2/21: Capital letters (proper nouns) Week 4 - 24/2/21: Question marks Week 5 - 3/3/21: Exclamation marks/points Week 6 - 10/3/21: Commas (lists) Week 7 - 17/3/21: Commas (sentences) Week 8 - 24/3/21: Apostrophes (contraction) Week 9 - 31/3/21: Apostrophes (possession)
Learning Goals
Students will learn to identify different punctuation marks and their uses. They will practice using them in the correct places.
