This curriculum uses art, logic, repetition, and facts about animals to teach spelling sight words that are hard for students to remember. Teacher uses Spalding Phonics, the Dolch Sight Word list and the Ayres Sight Word List

1. A 6 week course using fun poems, art, logic, repetition, and activities to teach recognition and spelling of 100 sight words while students also learn facts and vocabulary words about 21 different animals.
2. Student Requirements for this class---students need to know the names of the letters of the alphabet as well as be able to write the letters of the alphabet with ease.

Students will need to purchase a pdf of the workbook--"Teach Your Child 100 Words to read, write, spell & draw-An animal coloring book" at this link---https://www.funschooling.com/product-page/pdf-100-words-teach-your-child-100-words-to-read-write-spell-and-draw-- If you choose to print the book ****you will need a three-ring binder to keep your pages available and organized. The advantage to printing the book is the larger page size, but the advantage to the book is the lack of paper to keep up with. If you do not want to print the book, the book version can be found on Amazon. This workbook will be used in each lesson and is VITAL to this class. After each lesson homework will be given for the student to complete. Completing the homework will be the most effective way to benefit from the lessons.
