Description

Class Experience

I am a certified elementary teacher with years of experience in preschool and second grade. I have also taught ESL for 3 years on-line, and hold an MA in Teaching from Dominican University. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through IMSE (30-hour morphology plus course).
Purchase of the Whole Phonics series is NOT required to participate in this class. However, learners who would like to practice outside of class, or who prefer physical books to reading on the screen, may wish to purchase Level 1 or Level 2 readers from https://whole-phonics.com/. Index cards for the creation of heart word flash cards is also optional.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
