Class Experience

The goals of this course it to teach students a multi-sensory approach to reading, spelling, and writing. They will learn strategies and skills that they can use anywhere at any time.
I have been an educator for 20+ years. I have worked in all grades, K-12, as a special educator. I currently teach in an elementary school and work with grades K-5 through an inclusion model. I have extensive experience working with struggling readers, spellers, and writers. I have also been trained in a specific reading intervention program that uses an Orton-Gillingham approach.
No homework is required. However, if your student will practice the skills learned and taught, it will help them tremendously as readers and spellers.
 1 file available upon enrollment
A printable sheet will be included. However, your student can use notebook paper as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
